The Golden Gates Bridges Over Troubled Borders project—as an extension and enlargement of the ongoing Tucson exhibitions has secured a site in Arivaca, Arizona.
The 40-foot bridge is built on a migrant path and is a golden talisman and a beacon for those wandering aimlessly though the Arizona desert in search of a better life.

Despite vandalism during construction, the Golden Gates Bridges has been completed and will be unveiled on February 28 at 6pm. The vandalism has been a series of converse acts which embody and characterize the conflict at hand in border areas of the Southwest.
The Golden Gates Bridges memorial will be moved from location to location and signed by people from both sides of the border; it will then be trucked to Washington DC and New York City in May. It has already attracted international media attention as means to broaden and deepen the dialog with reference to the tragic migrant issues at hand.
This memorial is a poignant and penetrating reinterpretation of
Cristo's Gates in Central Park, New York City, New York.
